Transform Your Running Performance

Improve your performance.

Two coach-led workshop days at Loughborough University. Pick a single day or join us for the full weekend.

The weekend brings the RunThrough Coach team, expert physiologists, and runners of every ability together at one of the UK's most iconic athletic venues. The Saturday focuses on technique — feedback, drills, and skills you can take into the next training block. The Sunday is built around lactate-based physiology testing and what it actually means for your training zones.

Both days are practical. You leave with feedback you can use, a clearer picture of where your fitness is, and a plan for what to do about it.

What our runners say

From past workshop attendees.

The course was fully engaging, well coached and well organised. The theory was backed up with practical drills to tune up your running. It was also definitely for everyone, not an elite athlete practise session. There was a great range of abilities/paces and you could take away as much as you wanted from the sessions, be it a casual runner who wants to understand a bit about the mechanics or a seasoned pro who wants to learn how to shift their threshold. I will definitely put in some practise using the drills/techniques learned and will sign up to some more physiology testing to see my progress.

Ben Robinson

Having attended the endurance Physiology Workshop and the Paula Radcliffe Marathon Workshop in 2025. Both events were excellent, hosted by brilliantly capable coaches and experts, attended by so many enthusiastic fellow runners of varied abilities and proved extremely worthwhile both for the wealth of knowledge provided and the validation of my existing understanding. RunThrough Coach events are highly recommended.

Workshop FAQ's

Common questions, answered.

Are the workshops for elite athletes?+

Our workshops are not designed for elite athletes, they're built and designed to support runners of all abilities, no matter where you are on your journey.

Will I learn about running cadence?+

We will cover all aspects of what underpins running technique & performance and what you should focus on specifically.

What if I'm injured but still want to attend?+

We always accommodate for runners who have an injury and can't fully participate in the practical elements of the day. However, our educational sessions are designed to provide lots of value so you can benefit from the day whilst also observing some of the practical sessions.

What if I book and can't attend?+

We have a 14 day cooling off period on all bookings, so please let us know within the first 14 days and we can provide a full refund. After this time, all bookings are non-refundable.

How many people attend and how many coaches are present?+

Our workshops vary, depending on the type and we usually have numbers between 15-50 runners, with a range of abilities. We always have enough coaches present to ensure runners get individual attention during the day.

If I have a question who do I reach out to?+

Please complete our contact form on the website and this will go directly through to our customer service team, who will be able to answer any of your questions.

Will you do a lactate analysis?+

The Sunday session will include a sub-maximal track session to measure lactate levels during training. This will provide you with a detailed physiology report that identifies your training zones and lactate thresholds, helping you apply these insights directly to your home training and racing performance.
