What Our Runners Say
Adam
"The trail workshop was a brilliant experience, led by a team of extraordinary athletes.
Our group was a mixture of all levels from total beginners to super experienced runners and everybody was accommodated for by Lewis and the team excellently. As well as being great coaches the runner retreats team are all really humble, down to earth people who set the tone for a really nice friendly atmosphere throughout the weekend.
So whether you're an experienced trail runner or totally new to it, it would be almost impossible to come away without having learned something new and had a great time doing it, I'd highly recommend giving it a go!"
Ann Angell
"From the minute I walked in, I was made to feel so welcome. I was surrounded by like minded people from all levels and all very inspirational in their own right with stories to tell.
The whole team are very professional and exceedingly good at what they do but also very down to earth. Everything is explained to you, you are nurtured and encouraged to participate but not pushed into anything. Being a road runner, I was quite daunted about the downhill running but everything was so well taught that I found myself flying down the hills without a care in the world.
The whole workshop is structured for all levels to come out learning something and I learnt an awful lot. The most poignant thing I learnt is that I absolutely love the trails and will be returning next year! Lots of laughs, lots to learn and being taught by an exceptional team was the icing on the cake. You are never made to feel inferior.
If you are a seasoned trail runner or a newbie like me, I would 100% recommend this team to be with.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience!"
